Just try to list the nominated bands, not in order of merit or preference. About 50 bands... can see it's a tough job for the committee to select 20 bands for two nights, or even 30 bands for 3 nights.

Committee members wouldl already have a list of bands whom they would like to see on stage. This exercise really to open up more choices for them. So let's leave them to do their job and not to question how they go about doing it.

It doesn't matter whether you are new or old, you have to be good. Experience helps. Even if you cannot make it this time, there will always be a chance next year. ROS is about promoting local bands with an open attitude, but bands must reciprocate with seriousness.
