Hi guys,i wanna get a OD or Dist pedal. Not those too dirty kind. I want those creamy sound/full/warm like gary moore. Sounds like violin? Haha.

Try a BOSS Dyna Drive. It's surprisingly nice...:mrgreen:

Boss OD3 is getting a lot of rave in HC. Cheap but very responsive overdrive. For sustain like sound, use the neck pickup of your guitar and try the EHX Big Muff... instant Santana sound.

I know its about trial and error. However i wanna narrow down my choice as much as possible. So i can go down to a shop and spend as little time as possible trying coz i am rather busy.

I am not sure - it might be able to.

I didn't explore that side of tone when I played his pedal.
