Radio Sound on my guitar wth!

Does anyone one know why my guitar when plugged in to the amp receives radio frequencies even if my amp is earthed and my guitar is brand new it uses INF 3 and 4 pickups two double coil and one single coil...HELP

I THINK it's because your cable could be unshielded? So it's practically become an antenna?

cant be im using shielded cable which i bought for like 40 bucks plus

Well, then something somewhere is not shielded, and picking up frequencies.

dudeeee, i had the same problem. but i just ignored it and it went away. seriously. but i remember at the time i was using a wah, and the wah increases certain frequencies, so maybe thats the cause. but cant be, cos after a while the radio signals went away. i remember i could get gold90 fm on it. hehe..actually quite cool

LOL but mine produces Chinese Radio how to play along but seems like theres nothing wrong with the electronics no pedal used on amp sound is more prominent when i max my overdrive

somehow somewhere something is a picking up radio signal thats invisible, but around us and amplified thru the amp.

a quick search over at google actually have much more info on why and how.

anyway, tried changing the position of the amp? Bring it round the house and try plugging in geetar, if its constantly pickup radio signal everywhere. Heh, congrats, you have a non frequency adjustable radio amp

*ok, the constant pickking up radio signal is a joke, it should not happen. Do try changing the postion of the amp and plug in the geetar to try with previous setting on amp thats pickup up the radio signal..*

imho, its a rather common occurance for geetarers. Mine was thru a fuzz factory picking up the radio signal.
