like slowly after a few years playing punk rock, you will defiinitely find it plain boring and kiddy.

i've got a few friends who are really into punk rock and all that sub cultures.

and then they left.

what are they now you wanna ask?..

they are the trend followers.

yes budakbone, read. good for the mind, good for the soul.

but at the same time, dont believe everything you read. in fact, go watch SLC Punks, it'll provide you with some clarity.....about what happens when people take things overboard.

in my opinion, Punk was used as a form of speech, where disgruntled people got together and used music as a form of expression to relay messages of oppresion, social disfunction, rebellion etc etc......basically where 3 chord punk rock orginated from. slowly, and sadly, it just degenerated into a degenerate's lifestyle....the worst of the lot include Gutter Punks. then you have your Working Class Punks etc etc.....

it may take you awhile to read up, but in the end its worth it.....but don't take things too literally and adopt stuff blindly....in fact don't adopt anything, just be youself.
