PSA: guy selling china fake PRS

everything, the carve of the knob recess, the carve of the upper horn, the gap btwn bridge pickup and trem is too far off, the lettering on the back of the headstock. also all the necks are always never 1 piece but 3 with the addition of the wings on the sides of the headstock as shown below. prs guitars have handwritten serial number sans the ce models. the 'inlay' is a dead giveaway too. i can see the damned woodfiller on the side. and artist grade top? appears the dude has never seen the kinda woods paul uses on his private stocks. wrong kinda tuners as well. and the signature at the back of the headstock, good lord even a blind person can tell its a decal. wrong type of strap button as well, prs always has that low profile wide ass buttons that prevent the guitar from coming off the strap and lastly prs doesnt drill a channel for the ground wiring directly from the control cavity, its always from the left side of the springs with the claw on top.

All thanks to james and his marvellous idea of disengaging replies in sell thread which is why this nut's post is still available and he is still selling his crap. Just wait until someone buys that damn thing and then let the bloodbath begin.

We are a click away from the report button if that makes any sense to you I hope so. Disabling the reply it has its own advantages imo.
People prbably get what they deserve and if they don't research well enough, they will fall into the hole of being scammed.
 
I just mailed him, he got back to me, claiming he is real tight on cash right now and he is pricing it at half price ($8,000).

I told him to take the ad off and outrightly told him its a clear fake, telling him to stop his scamming and dishonest ads.
 
wooo... that's good to know.

i'm watching the thread btw... not procrastinating to act but interested to see what entails when someone here tells him off...

If someone (heaven forbids) really buys, it will be a $8000 worth of con job. Caveat emptor or not, this may have serious consequences as police investigation and legal ramification will drag SOFT into a slippery mud hole.

i doubt so, his description really doesn't look like it comes from someone who got cheated.. more like someone trying to pull a fast one

anyway the pics are most likely pulled off one of those china sites.
