friends and i went to queue at 8pm on friday, to our surprise there isnt anyone yet rofl.we felt so retarded going so early.haha too bad a friend wanted an rg321 but gone.. most probably taken by the M(o)FO members cause we are the first to go in.how sad,but he still got him self a sweet and hot sa nevertheless! got my self a cube20, sounds super awesome\m/

s7320 was 1400 before discount...i guess he got it for 700 plus.......yeah..wats the price for the apex1....considering its body is made from mahogany better than uv which is bass wood.....sub can enlighten me thks.....

i wouldnt say better wood , rather , different wood.
both produces different tones , some ppl like basswood others mahogany etc.
i queued for 5hrs , i bought 2 straps and cloth =)

The sale was indeed mad! Was awake for hmm... say 36 hours from Friday afternoon till Saturday night?? Summary of my sale day MFO sale, Full Flight gig, dinner, Mustafa Centre walk around, jamming, going to airport to pick up a friend, McD breakfast @ Bedok, Sale again...

Didn't have anything in mind to get from the sale apart from one Dimarzio Cliplock and maybe some other misc stuff.

I ended up going out from that 1st day sale with an RGR321 for a friend, a ritter gig bag, dimarzio cliplocks, strings.

Second day, the list of things the bunch of my friends got from the sale would include:
- Strap
- Mic Cable
- Pearl Eliminator
- Epi SG
- Guitar stands
- Tuners
- Strings

And myself, I went in walked around and came out empty handed.

time & again, we need to remind ourselves that a certain wood type doesn't make the guitar more superior than another; it's about tone & what works. Suhr guitars are incredible basswood units. Steve Morse insists his Ernie Ball sport a poplar body, Petrucci can choose any wood he wants, he sticks to basswood...

there wasn't one to begin with, the RGR321 was available.

Already told all this kids that a basswood guitar does not mean it's a cheapo made guitar, it comes in grade and like mahagony it comes in grades too. The UV777PBK is made of basswood does that mean Steve Vai is using a cheapo made guitar?
