Laney's VC & LC amps are costly in relation to their sizes. the VC30 is about $900+/- list (no idea if there's price revision lately). be warned that the VC isn't adept to high gain. i does crunch well though...

not exactly an odd ball but the Chet Atkins models are still available- these remain collectible as the 'Chet Atkins' name goes back to Gretsch posthumously.

*Ibanez DE7: no-frills delay (recommended)
*BOSS delay units- when it comes to digital delay, BOSS is the standard to beat

i don't do exact pricing, just approximates as i don't encourage price speculation here + avoid inaccuracies. the Epi LP Studio on the SALE day would not exceed $450. the Std Plain Top would be about $500+/-
as for acoustic guitars, with a budget of $300 on SALE day, you can actually get a mid-priced Ibanez (after disct of course...) but i was rather upset the EW wasn't anywhere in sight. nevertheless, you can consider the following alternatives (subject to availability):
*Ibanez PF60 (don't be surprised if it's not even $200 on SALE day- affordable & recommended)
*if you're lloking for a solid top version, the AW15 is the most affordable in its family but its tonal performance is beyong the asking price + the smooth tuners are some of the best from the Ibanez brand name:

however, do not exclude the CORT acoustics from your consideration. any PW, Earth & Standard series are recommended (the Standard being the more affordable here...).

wow, that's kinda early...

can i just get the head during the sales? Or is it a must to get with the cabinet? Thinking to grab the so-cal head or evj head. the lsit price of evj is 401, any idea how much is the lsit price for so-cal?
