Call me strange, but I like those Gotoh mini-pots. The small size is especially useful since the control cavities in my guitars usually end up being stuffed full to the brim. They're also a little tough to turn which suits me fine. I got a volume pedal for my swells and I don't like pots that turn at a touch.

Been using those Alpha pots for my pedals, though. Those are nice.. More pricey than the Gotohs, but nice.. Just gotta snap off the little "anti-rotation" tab thingy.

Actually, as long as you find the correct pot value, the standard Alpha pots can be used for guitars.
