Popular Electric Guitar of this Generation

hey i'm 19 this year. Started out using a strat but it couldn't really produce the djang djang distorted sounds i wanted cause i play heavier music, not saying that single coils suck plus or anything but the plus point is that it produces damn clear and crisp clean tones. Moved on to use an Epi SG which was 1 of my favorite guitars, it had the humbuckers which pleasured me and was relatively light i guess and so i used it for 2 years until last year when i was looking through videos of guns n roses and looking at slash play with his les paul and it looked like WOAH and i was like i needed to get one. Due to money constraints i only bought an epiphone les paul limited edition came fitted with EMG pickups and god that really blew me away, although it's a little heavy i don't mind. I will never trade my lespaul for anything else now unless its another lespaul or its a GIBSON. So i'm guessing the Lespaul is still one of the most sought after guitars since 80s, 90s? just guessing. haha

guitar

ha
yea..
had to get an LP as well too..
same influence as well.
thx to MR. Slash. haha

For me, I like the Gibson Les Paul Special. Solid mahogany, 2 p-90s, and no other frills needed. I can't think of that many people who use them, and I can't see why. They're really versatile.

But these days I've been using a black falcon.

GO GO MAGIC STRAT!

For me its the magic of a bolt on neck strat. Hooya, love my nitro-bodied olympic white strat!

haha i caught your set at youth park that day!

the black falcon is gorgeous! did you use it for recording your ep?

Hey guys, as stated above it is true that what one see in a guitar shape is really what one is influenced by keke.......For me i have always lusted for a les paul and find that it is still the most beautiful shape i have ever seen.....actually single cuts in general appeals to me be it a PRS or Gibson. Although single cuts are my first love, there is always room for a strat, a sg and a ES335 keke.......I am quite a huge eric clapton fan and he has used every guitar mentioned above so i have to get them......now it is down to the ES that i have yet to own......... Long live Blues & Rock!!
