different picks do give you a slightly differnt tone. bt its too subtle for me to bother i choose picks based on feel.

sweat a lot the awe in ones give me the best grip and the its a pretty fast pick. love them to bits now the only problem is finding anymore white profound picks! G77 seems to be out anyone has a stash around here? mine are all worn out.

are the different colours made of different materials? i used the purple ones and it wore out in about a week.

sorta yeah. you can tell the white one is the hardest despite the thickness being the same for all the picks.

Hmm.

I've been using triangular picks since 2 yrs ago.

metal picks for my Epi (to reduce the muddiness?)

and stubby 1.5mm for my tele.

I've been experimenting with picks for a long time.. prolly since I started playing guitar.

Haha i like stubbys. 3 mm ones damn good for fast flatpicking. Also, because the radius is so thick, picktapped notes also come out loud and clear.

David from music theme in peninsula also uses them.

Jim Dunlop - nylons - soft & hard type for diffirent styles ...1 of each on my git at all times and at least 5 spares in my wallet...

also use my 5 right hand fingers 40% of thetime, teeth 0.5% of the time, mike stands & other nearby on stage items 0.25% of the time....

1 fat, FAT, pick = 60 cents.

200 of them = 120 BUCKS leh.

Hahaha... 300? 8)

That will last me a life time :D ...unless i become a rock star and flick them after every song live....

hahaha, hand it down to your kids! :D

Oh yeah, Vai uses those Ibanez picks? They are interesting, very very long, I find them akward to use, but if you use them more often, it turns out its EXCELLENT for sweeping and digging in. Not too friendly for rapid picking but nothing's perfect no?
