Here are some pics from a small get together a few of us had today at Fourtones. Held at Fourtones studio, we had the privilege of booking their nice facilities. Nice Randall cab in the big room for sure. That Randall head is pretty damn good too if I don't say so myself!
I apologize in advance for the quality for some pics, the lighting in the studio ain't all that good for photo taking. I only managed to kick it into slightly more usable settings toward the end. Well without further haggling...
Brandon aka. Nanoshred and Edmund aka. Edo jamming away.
Nano cutting loose on Ed's Suhr Faded Denim Custom Standard.
The trio of Beautiful John Suhrs, from left to right - Jireh's aka. Pentatonic Suhr Bengal Burst Custom, Nanoshred's Bahama Blue Pro Series, Ed's Faded Denim Custom Standard.
Tone reports on the Suhrs, Jireh's Suhr is simply awesome. I remember ogling over it the first time he posted pics here on the forums. Remember that pic with that digital clock in the background? The guitar has a really good rhythm tone, I could spend days on end jamming out funk riffs! The silent single coil system is a amazing for sure! Great guitar, lots of nice meat on the neck, singing tone and really good definition!
Brandon's Pro Series, crazy looking top for a guitar at this price. The maple neck provides a lot of definition as well as bite. I simply love the tone in the bridge humbucker really great in your face rock tone. The Even C Slim neck shape is fast as hell. Lovely!
Ed's Faded Denim Custom...wow. Simply wow. If the finish alone does not get you, my friends; the tone simply will. Thick juicy fat tones. I love this guitar! Plus the neck has loads of meaty grips in all the right places. Just like Jlo!
Next the battle of the Historic R7 Goldtops!
On the left is Chamin's R7, and Fenderben's R7 Dark Back.
I love these guitars to the core. I've never tried better Les Pauls than what Gibson is currently offering in their line of historics. There's just no substitute. Chanmin's goldie is loaded with Burstbuckers and Fenderben's with WCR pickups.
