Where did you hear that from?

From reports here, dealers and on TGP; I think they are very reliable. Plus they are PTP which makes repair relatively easier since techs do not have to deal with PCB boards. If ever there's a breakdown I'm sure our local techs can sort it out, plus the guy himself is just north of the border.

Great amps really!

So far I've tried their Marshall, Fender and now their Dumble clones, all are extremely great amps for the money.

btw erm.. ceriatone stuff to me is totally dependable... i have the Trainwreck express and this overtone special... both have been brought out and played quite a fair bit... Not even a sign of malfunction. However ceriatone amps really need to be paired with good cabs. particularly closed back cabs... v30s etc... for the price... its really a no brainer.

Nik mentioned a new dumble-esque amp... and even a MESA type amp... so you guys could wait for that.
