tis is a pretty old guitar which i wish to resurrect!

Thanx one again!
Cheers!

sleepykitty: did he skin you to do that? =x lol

BrokenWingz: Hmmm, can't say much, but you could give Air Norton a chance as well?

try putting a duncan jb and the neck.

its a neck pickup i know.
put in at the bridge.
gets you a very dark metal tone.

wether it muds or not depends on how you tweak your distortion.

for ur type of tone?
the super distortion.
Paul Gilbert does that.
:D

i have one at the bridge and its a really hot pickup.
Since the X2N is even hotter, i guess the Super D should do just fine.

Hmmm he wants a deep dark tone... so make sure we consider that before recommending hehe.

Trivia: Gilbert has Super Ds wired in parallel.

Personally, I feel that a medium-output humbucker at neck should be fine.

I also suggest to add the ability to coiltap as well as switch to parallel mode for less output in the humbuckers on your axe. Make it more versatile.

Breed neck will balance well with the X2N. Good choice. Warmer tones compared to the brightish bite of the X2N. Versatile too.

you could alternatively look up the reviews in harmony central for the x2n pickup and see what pple usually pair it with for a rough idea.

Consistancy in tone is a hard fought ideal when selecting matching pickups across the positions.

Get another X2N.

Hi sorry for the late reply! Finally got released from camp!

I'm kidding. Really.

But if you want, GO FOR ITTTTTTTTTT!!!!!! It KILLS LITTLE ANIMALS!!!!!

It will balance lah... but HELL, thats a LOT of power loh!

Another gd choice wld be a tonezone in the neck. I know that sounds strange, but the tonezone compliments the x2n in a unique way. I can't explain.............u gotta try 2 understand.
