hmmm, well it wasnt about the looks. i bought it for the wood that it was made of. it had everything i wanted. the looks was just an extra bonus.

ah the mattocaster is matthew bellamy's signature guitar, custom made by hugh manson
the brand is manson, but ppl call it the mattocaster as he probably who has guitars of that body shape.

its how horn there that made me think about the similarity. =]

Nope, I wouldn't have done that. It's a Mexican strat that comes with a floyd and humbuckers, I swapped the tex mex ones for a Dimarzio super distortion. Had the amp problem solved, now it's really LOUDDDDD.... Great!

hey penta, the R7 was a great piece. It just sold though. Seriously the Custom Shop Historic/VOS model LPs are much better than the standard production ones today. Strong, punchy, with lots of clarity and nice taper on the vol/tone knobs. You should get your hands on one to try!
