Hey fibre, are those noise absorbing panels on the wall? Are they efficient? Cos I am thinking of employing the same for my home studio in my new home. Thanks!

Dont ask me how i got it, Its a very long story.
Lets just say the Dealer didn't even know they had this model in their shop.
I had someone looked in up in their database and found it.
It seems that someone had ordered the guitar 2-4 years ago?
Placed it in the store and didn't inform any of the other colleagues of the purchase.
So basically he/she forgotten about it and no one else knew.
The dealers had to go on a 'manhunt' search for this guitar in their storeroom.
took them quite a while but it was worth the wait.
If I'm mistaken theres only 3 pieces in Singapore.
Wanted to get a Translucent Red but theres only Black available.

For more info about this guitar you can go to
Washburn Idol Series. WI64 Guitar.

how is the martin backpacker, im thinking of getting a portable size acoustic to put in my school classroom for practice..

its very good, but of cos you need a strap to actually play it.
take note there are 2 versions of the backpacker.
oh yea, one thing thats cool about the backpacker...the side of body and neck is carved from one piece of wood...essentially a neck thru acoustic :P

the older one has a slimmer upper bout so less bass, but of cos the 24" scale length helps contribute some lower end, and crammed headstock.

the updated version is as mine.

Washburn Idols are the sex . I don't think Washburn has any official dealers in Singapore. How much did it cost you?

it was suppose to cost me 1k+

but the dealer sold it to me for 500+
consisting of new set of strings and a Rockbag.

its somewhat like a token of appreciation i guess for helping them find a 'long lost guitar'
