Pedals with stereo in/out

Just wondering if there are any other line of pedals out there that has a stereo in and out (meaning double mono in and double mono out) as part of their feature.

The only ones I can find are the Line 6 pedals. Some Ibanez Tone Lok pedals and Digitech pedals has double mono outs only but no stereo in.

stereo out would be more common then stereo in.

Dont think i have seen too much pedals with stereo in other then the few you have already mentioned.

The stereo in would be for signals that are, well, stereo. Not necessarily guitar. Mostly to do with stereo audio samples or tracks played through it eg synth, keyboard, drum loops etc

JMS came out with a few good ones. Pretty high end, costly stuff, I might add.

there were some disccusion i came acorss a long while back on what is exactly a stereo out. Quite inteeresting.

for some people, the stereo thingy can be just a dry and wet signal out, for some, it involve phase correction.

some of the interesting stereo out pedals which i came across are echoczar and moog murf.

For the echoczar, the stereo effect of the delay was pretty lush(dont like to use this word, but it really is luch and for a delay instead of chorus, it was cool). Incidentally, theres a phase switch in the pedal as well.

For moog murf, the stereo out involved certain set of frequencies sounding out from one amp and another set of frequencies from 2nd amp. Can be trippy at times.

One for the wall of sound loop with probably a mute just after the stereo out and the other for the main lines.

As explained above to Dudelove, my real purpose is to feed stereo signals in and have stereo signals out. As most guitar pedals input/output jacks that I know are usually mono, the signal being fed in would be condensed to a mono signal, more likely only the left channel signal will fed through via mono cables. Nope, not a dry and wet signal thing, which is what I believe some "stereo" pedals are bragging about.

I like the Line 6 tonecore series. The double ins/outs are one of their perks. But actually it's more out of curiosity on my part on how analog could make that difference in the sound. Unless I am willing to go through every pedal I purchase and mod them to have double in and out jacks, I might have to look to analog effects racks for that extra specification.

About effects like the Echoczar and Moog, it's interesting how they are able to split a guitar's mono signal into stereo with different frequencies on each channel. But as I mentioned, I wonder how they would react if the original signal is stereo.

Hmmm... I might take up your suggestion on putting different instruments for each channel... :mrgreen:

Guitar > stereo out splitter > two amps, each with its own different set of pedal chain in the efx loop, with one having a looper.

I was thinking of a simpler ABY switcher for the two amp scenario actually, but the Drag control is innnttteeerrressstttinggggggg.... :twisted:

if really wanna have a 2 amp setup for shows and stuff, radial one is good. It can be troublesome trying to solve the phase issues and goundloop problem when on stage.

at times when playing at home, i have some setup that use both amps and i dont remember having much problem. Not sure how its like, if its for bigger stage/set up

That won't come very soon so probably the Radial would be be listed pretty low on the GAS list for now :lol:

then i was thinking, for the wall of sound channel, end it with another stereo reverb and use 2 amps. and put the main channel amp in the middle.

3 amp wonder. how nice.

Yes, I like it much better than the CE2.
