pedalboard

dric, whats practical is... preference and circumstances lah. I got a bad back, I wouldn't carry a hardcase pedalboard because its just too heavy. And if I get a bigger pedalboard... no... I don't want to think about what gear to fill up that empty Boss size hole. :P

Power supplies aplenty... 1Spot, cheap, reliable... then got Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2... well, google, you'll see a TON... then search SOFT because there have been plenty discussions on pedal power, and whats essential in a power supply.

haha. im leaving at 2.30.. haha hmm yeah i tink so. but i was thinking of modelling gr3y's board

sorry... just an idea for those looking to build your own board - what about using the inside of a guitar/bass case? They're usually quite square, about the right height. All you need to do is rip out the inside partitions and stick some carpet in it...

Just an idea...

i went there.. the ply wood is so darn thiN! didnt buy. ill try to grab the st adrian case on sale here. is it gd?

wads tt st adrain case? got pics?

the plywood are thin.. but did you see the thicker hardboard? and the thinner hardboards? use those. they are ok to go with.. i think they no longer go thick plywoods.. careful when you nail or screw.. you dun 1 2 crack the wood with huge dildo like screws or nails.. use the size of max 2/8 of the thickness of the wood.

guitar case and bass case are great ideas! I remember blueark's 1st case was built out of an old guitar case!

yes weight is a very big prob.. you dun 1 2 happily built and fit pedals in but cant move the damn pedalboard at all! the pedals are made of a thing call metal! and they weights..

keep the spirit up.. dun give up.. unless you are ready to get a common pedalboard la.. haha..

ok. i think i cant build my own since i cant find wood. any other boards available in singapore?

I'm not sure if that wood should be used, but art friend has stocks of different sizes of (not too big) planks of wood.

Just went to luther today.

They're selling acryllic made pedal boards. Its made in the style of the pedaltrain brand without the spaces in between to route the cables. Its not exactly ready yet as the bags for the boards have not come in yet im told. Also it does not come with velcro. Have to diy. But the base is already there.

is acrylic really durable enough to step on? if its designed in the pedaltrain way wont it break?
