Pedalboard Pictures!

The Carl Martin Combinator 2 was designed and developed in response to many requests from guitar players who use lots of effects pedals, but are frustrated by having to press several footswitches in order to turn multiple pedals on and off. The Combinator 2 is a non-midi programmable effects switching system that handles up to eight pedals. Each pedal is connected to one of eight individual effects loops (loop 7 with stereo return, and loop 8 with stereo send/return), and then assigned to one or more of 18 groups. Pushing the program switch for a group simultaneously engages all of the pedals assigned to it. So if, say, you have a fuzz, a wah, and a chorus assigned to program switch 1, pressing that switch will turn them all on or off. The Combinator 2 is a three-bank device each with six programs. The Combinator 2 also features a master mute switch, a tuner output jack, and three channel external switching using loop programming switch one, two and three, connected to three individual jack plugs, the loops can be used simultaneously i.e. if loop one is used for external switching, and a pedal is in loop one, that loop is activated when the external switching is used.

Any recommendations for a versatile distortion and a delay pedal?

I really want to start my own effects chain but don't where to start..

Hi,

Decided to join in and post mine. :D

erm, sequence is DT-10 > Moog MF-101 w/ exp pedal > Line 6 otto filter > HAO sole pressure > Sahasrara OD > RAT2 > The Andriod Modulator > Small Clone > DD-5 > DD-3

Sometimes I'll use the SD-1 instead of the Sole pressure. I swap out the DD-3 for either the DM-2 or DSD-2 once in a while.

anyone have problem with jeykll and hyde footswitches? my od seems to work like 90% of the time only. my neighbor has the same problem too. we brought it to g77 to repair but they say its working perfect

wow i wonder whether my pedals(10 soon!) can fit that ehx sized bag.. heh sleepykitty your keyboard bag was just too huge after using a few times, plus now its a bed for my cat :) lol

hmm. im kinda leaning towards a soft case so i can carry without killing my back. but i've no idea what bag can fit my pedals.. ocd > wah > us muff > (soon 69 fuzz) > ds-2/ crunchbox soon > tonefactor AF > phase 90 > byoc chorus > dd-3/artec delay. and gotta fit in a tuner somewhere plus two 1 spots... think the ehx bag would cut it? gotta wait a long time for misse to bring in the fulltone 69s, waiting for some cash to fund the tuner, prob tu-2 or dt-10 and the delay.. i'd post my board if it wasnt on a plank with my books under..

^ and yeah i'll try sell the bag soon as my exams are over!

bro, im using the westfield, same size as the ehx, just diff brand and cheaper. i got erm,10 pedals including wah and EB 6166 vol. you need to contort your patches into all sorts of shapes imo.

NOT BIG ENOUGH! im still waiting for my misse. :(
