Different bridge!

## Lights Flashing ## We have a winner!

I installed a FRII and replaced the neck with a Fender Japap FR Squier Series neck. Installed a set of AM fender tuners. The body is a jap alder body but 1990 make. So it is a recon job of some kind to recreate a FR strat.

fgl:- no lah, this guitar cannot compete with your flower power or arthur's SRV replica. Just something I was tinkling with over the weekend.

Here's my reversed headstock partscaster strat...purchased from and assembled by Encik Beez. I've been using it for half a year. I don't really name my gear. But since you guys are doing it, maybe I shall name her Kitty, coz of the sticker...haha!

Ultra smooth killer neck that fits my hand perfectly.

Selected parts and specs...

Alder body - harvested from an MIJ Fender somewhere
Lefty maple neck with dark rosewood board (12" radius) - from AllParts
Callaham steel bridge and block
KTS titanium saddles
Grover tuners (long posts)
Bone nut
Graphtech string trees
Bare Knuckles Apache pickups
RS Electronics vintage kit, Jensen paper-in-oil cap
Switchcraft 5-way switch and input jack
3-ply pickguard (mintgreen)

This strat may look plain jane, but to me it's already a keeper. Its tone and playability won me over. I've previously owned 3 Fender strats (MIA & MIJ) and a Suhr, but this Kitty beats them all. Yep, this is truly a partscaster appreciation thread.

obzervr now then i realiza ive always spell wrongly..
observer.. observr.. lol.. is the bridge original routed for fr?

guitarsan: What an awesome piece of beauty! I'm sure it sounds and feels great too :) Thinking of building another Strat with reverse headstock neck..:) And yes, I've owned Fenders before my custom 60s Strat was born and I've never looked back. Partscasters are really a joy to play if u know exactly how u want it sound...choosing parts to ur preference etc..

I feel like playing ur Strat one day...:P
