can these bricks be conditioned to remove personal sentimentalities when exercising their purchasing power?
yes we are all aptly-put deemed as mere statistics.
And statistics and target demographic segmentation by itself proves that even the component "snobbish mentality folks" are by itself a brick in the proverbial wall of demographics. Meaning- They themselves are considered as a seperate demography in this consumer-market.
Low spending power
High spending power
Quality conscious
Brand Conscious
Needs-based consumers
Brand Loyalists
Etc
Etc
Mix and Match them all.
Wah seh ... you which school ah ??
Power... eventho i don't really understand ...but super the power lah bro !!
What i understand is >> noobs get glorified into snobbs ?!
how many would actually buy and wear panda brand shoes as compared to nike/adidas etc (if the panda brand shoe is of better quality)
...if you "condition" them, then it will unchain a whole slew of events that will unmake time and we will all not exist and it will signal the end of the world as up will be down and vice versa. I kid.
... its the herd instinct in the works !the glorification here is mechanized by influence, yes?
the latter is a demographic in itself, and guitars can be designed to appeal to this demographic of consumers who are anti-brand-conscious.
this is quite similar to the concept that "indie" or "DIY" music can be designed to appeal to the demographic of consumers who are "anti-mainstream", with the aim ultimately to result in the same consumerist behavior as the mainstream crowd.
to see this in context, in the case of guitars, a Gibson may be marketed to the brand-conscious, while a Cort may purposely be marketed to the anti-brand-conscious, explaining why even though a high end Cort may overlap in price with a low end Gibson, different segments of the consumer market will prefer to buy each one.
Quality by true virtue is often undermined by quality by brand association.
Friends
please share why you are/not particular about brand names. would you buy a superb no-namer or a mediocre boutique product?
The seperation of demography is absolute, if you "condition" them, then it will unchain a whole slew of events that will unmake time and we will all not exist and it will signal the end of the world as up will be down and vice versa. I kid.
I am actually talking in layman's terms, the characteristics of the consumers, each segment is made up of different types of consumers divided by their traits.
So what Im saying is that all of us make up the whole pie, and that "conditioning" would effectively mean to change a segment into something completely different with totally different set of values and traits, which relatively will mean, educating them to a system of your beliefs, which could be quite hard , as after all, its opinion vs opinion. Unless you are one of those that wear white and sit on the stands during National day lah.
