Opinion Needed on Fender strat..

Malmstein needs noise suppressors and his DOD pedal .... only 3 pedals? , i know of many virtuosos who use many times more. His playing dynamics are there... i guess its whether you wanna hear it.

Thats 3 pedals without true bypass and you know what noise suppressors do right?

As what I said earlier, he does have dynamics, its just not going to come out with that much gain. I guess its whether you wanna read my words the right way aye?

i was running everything flat. just noodling on sunday nite. with those new CurtMangan strings [kerr, owe me 1 kopi liao]. decided to record the new tone. this single coil sure has an identity crisis. hehe

Maple fretb / neck? Try black pearl inlays - rare & hard to come by but damm classy - had em on my old G & L Skyhawk 8)

inlays - how often do you rely on them?? If you need to see them, don't use abalone on maple....you'll never see them or the guys putting them in will use the ugly dark abalone cause he thinks you would like to see them.

fingerboard - buy 1 of each!! Rosewood and maple boards sound and feel very different. If you buy only 1 you will always feel that the you need the other. :lol:
