Is there a single famous or professional guitarist that had only 1 guitar?

Actually... those famous guitarists usually have that 1 special guitar. Vai has Evo. Malmy has his Duck. SRV had his SRV strat. So on so forth.

The "extra" guitars are there for tonal colouring... and different applications.

actually SRV used a different strat when he played riviera paradise in i think Live in Austin.

Hendrix also swaps between his flying V and strat.

Mark Knopfler also between les paul and strat.

Clapton from les paul/SG i think, to strat

OK lah slash got so many Les Pauls and other brands too.

well, some people just need to own guitarS to find the "one". Sometimes feel just cant truly tell by trying a guitar at a shop. And too I believe there isnt perfert guitar around, but favourtie do exists.
