This last pic i took is something that really caught my attention.. could anyone tell me what is that?

These pics are taken before they "arrest" me and i am sharing it to you guys with the risk of those idiots trying to stop me sharing stuff over the internet. Got a bunch of vids that are clear and nice sounding.. but i heard from my friend that if i upload to youtube, it'll be removed by rr.. so no point.. don't pm me to send personally.. i'll only upload to youtube if it is possible.

Enjoy

very nice shots for a PnS camera! however i still remember the severe crap the OFFICIAL forum photographer came up with at the 2006 gig.

It's a brain wave magnifier. it feeds the musicians the notes to play in their minds. something like an invisible score sheet. Rudess was out of range thats why he needed to read through his OASYS.

seriously, i don't know what in hell's kitchen is that.

yo Gr3y

nice pix man.. u really saved us
hahaha...
yeah, about the no photograpy thingy, wasted.... but wat to do....

yeah, the singapore lions jersey... had a good laugh about it
but somewat expected, as portnoy like to wear something in associated wif either the theme or place.. cool huh....

and one thing that really capture me...
THE ANIMATIONS (power, esp when they fight the monster) AND VIDEOS AND VISUAL EFFECTS!!!!

damn cool hor!

thanks for the pics Gr3y! I'll post some of them at the John Petrucci forum if you don't mind..
can't believe it actually rained..but at least u guys got the Ministry Of Lost Souls!

aiyoh, why so childish send this kind of mail? your ip address can find you one leh.... so coincidental, i just mentioned the crap photography 2 years ago and i get these mails... i dont think i need to say much about the person anymore, do i? eh, i dont think that photographer who claimed his photos were "art" (somemore professional COMMERCIAL photographer... big leh!) will be so bo liao to send me such emails. to prevent such misunderstandings from happening.... the forum should not appoint such artistic photographers so there will no grounds for suspicion he could be the same disgruntled person sending me the mails.

to Mr Free-Time-On-Your-Hands
tolong leh, want to send me fan mail, you can leh. you got my phone number anyway.... so give me a ring. my photography website is amateur only one, i not commercial, industrial or in any way professional photographer. i only volunteer for certain projects. you so free, please write a photography tutorial to help everyone shoot better, ok? :)

Make Peace (and Love), not War.... Are you Propheting from War?

Haha okay, a lil commedy..

I found the sound quite good last night. Was expecting a lil worse cuz I had the Yngwie's set impression stuck in my mind. Once again, Portnoy's drum was mic'ed and EQ'ed so well I sounded freaking awesome.

The animations in the background was hilarious. I wondered if portnoy did all those himself? Haha. Portnoy's spit, JP's fire guitar, JM's sub waves, Jordan R's Dumbledore longfingers and James L's vocals as weapons.. And Mike's drumset suddenly becoming a motor cycle! lol. Kudos to the backstage people also for perfectly synching the words for a particular song.

James Labrie's vocals sound different from studio alumbs. I would say it's a lil more raw last night and was better than that in the albums. JP's clean tone was teh seks, Piezo pups, stereo reverb etc, gave the vast out-spacy feel minus the cheapo sound.

The rain also added to the great ambience there! Wet hair nicer to head bang (which was a challenge cause of the time signatures). I wonder if their instruments and gear will get damaged cause when it was raining the heaviest, large sprays of mist went all over the stage. Thumbs up to DT for still carrying on and putting up a good show though their instruments were quite damp halfway through.

I have a few pics and vids, will see what to do with them later. I was surprised they allowed people to take photos and videos continuouly for the 1st hour before they sent those half naked ang mohs around to remind people not to take footages though. Haha

+1 to wolfboy

the sound was awesome...especially when jp palm-muted heavy power chords, just blew you 1mm away...haha...and james singing was actually better live...jm as usual, the power horse...jordan with his sexay machine...camel portnoy with groovy drumming, somehow he kept 'missing cues' yesterday...haha...

at some point jp's sound was a bit muddy, during trial of tears i think...too much reverb/delay maybe? and found that jordan's volume was a bit low... but wateva, they brought orgasm to everyone for 3 freaking hours...\m/ !!!!!!!!
