wah i see underoath under metal i quite disappointed! listen to like slayer, kreator, testament if ur not into the growls and shit.
If ur open enough you can step into the world of death metal. bands like, obituary, suffocation, morbid angel, grave, cannibal corpse, dying fetus etc...
Black metal doesnt mean satanic....check out Immortal!
Or on the technical side of things, Cephalic carnage, Necrophagist, Arsis, Nevermore etc

yup, black metal definitely doesnt mean satanic. there are bands that sing about other stuff like nature and Tolkien stuff, if you are curious you can check out Summoning (atmospheric black metal). there are also bands that sing about political stuff, like ChthoniC (taiwanese melodic black metal).

But if u meant non-satanic, i guess just stay off black metal? Cos most are too gore for u?
Some say Iron Maiden is satanic but I felt they are just singing about it they are not really promoting or wth.
The more u try to avoid it the more it gets to u.
