yamaha lost dealership for SD pickups to davis, go grab them now!! humbuckers left black custom custom (i know cos i took the last white piece hee), custom, white jazz, white distortion, alnico II pro, black pearly gates, screamin' demon quite a few, full shred one or two, for single coils mostly similar, vintage for strat, quarter pound, alnico II pro, hot for tele, hotrails, ok that's all i remember..

yamaha indeed lost dealership.

i heard somehow that means more expensive SD's. true or false i dont know.

but i'm glad i already got mine, if its true.

hmm...think davis should charge reasonable price lar...service , another thing..

lol. about pricing, yeah, i personally believe they wont be unreasonable. as for servicing, its up to you to get it done there lol. so no biggie.

combo shop needs more good amps so that the guitars would be more tonally viable for those of us who are indeed attracted to them- yes, some of them are very good guitars per se.

no offence to the combo shop people (they are very friendly)- no use having a facelift, if the wares you offer remain limited (refering to guitars here). there's more to the pacifica/ rgz/ etc range than the ones currently offered, maybe combo shop should bring them in?

gain10 has seymour duncans if you can't wait for Davis to bring them in...

Can go to the Gain10 shop and buy? Didn't know.

From their website under shipping:
5) What if I’m located in Singapore and I do not opt for delivery?
Well, collection from our office is not really convenient as Gain 10 is run from a home office and we enslaved lots of industrious elves in the office to cut on manpower costs. We don’t want to risk our elves escaping as soon as you open the door to our office.

3) If I am located in Singapore, how do I make payment?
There are 3 options to make payment if you are located in Singapore. Either through bank transfer (Internet or ATM), Paypal credit card or Paypal eCheck. We recommend using bank transfers as they clear quickly and do not involve a surcharge.

This few things got me thinking...
I'm not really sure what that means but if it's really okay to buy from their shop I'll do it!
Oh and how much does changing a pickup cost? LOL.
