Davis - it was an official repair, a replacement of some circuit board, probably the drive section.

Its not their fault, the new MGs sound like that.

Its not that the new MGs suck so bad they are un-usable but since I've had a taste of the better old, well, yeah...

I have an MG15CDR and im pretty satisfied with it.. its just I never leave the FDD off.. haha

The Line 6 amps sounds horrible with pedals, and the Marshall doesn't go too well with gain stuff.. A simple OD pedal sounds more like a distortion thanks to the lack of a CLEAN clean channel..
