hi, i need to find out whether is the a voodoo lab DC power supply sold here in singapore?....may i know where i can find it, cause i need to supply all my pedals in the pedalboard. And how much will it cost?..
is there any other alternatives to supply all the pedals at the same time?
if there is... telll me.
thanks

for an alternative, you can get a custom made power supply unit, specific to your board's requirements from edder here on soft. I'm using one, good stuff. You want 8 outputs, mixed with AC and DC and varying voltages, he can do. You want an octopus with 20+ tentacles with pure 9V DC output, he also can do. Just contact him, he'll lead u thru the rest.

that's abt right...same as mine.

looks like the economic boom hasn't increased ur lead time by much bro! :D

Tell us what pedals you have and then we'll give you the custom advice you need.

As was the point in other threads, the PP2+ has 8 isolated outputs.

Bump for an old thread, with the same question as the OP: Does anyone know where a PP2+ can be found, in the region? Called SL, but doesn't seem like they're interested to sell/order.

Also tried the edder customshop solution, but he's got bigger fish to fry.

Is S$500 too much for a PP2+? The only source I have now is Europe, mucho expensive man.. :(

500 is way too expensive for a PP2+.

I paid 375 locally and even that is about 50 bucks above what is expected.

What you could do - drop an email to Voodoo Labs, explain your situation in detail... maybe they can do something.

the price you pay for custom made transformer  ....

I am yet to see anything thats comes close to a PP2 ... i hope !!

There's also the Burkey Flatliner and the JuiceBox, but both are even more expensive. The PP2+ still looks like the most sensible choice. I think I'll write that email soon. Who else is interested in a PP2+?? Of course, if Ebenex would collect orders and contact Voodoo Lab, that would be ideal...

Sigh. Come to think of it, with $500, I can buy a monster power strip and more than 10 1spots, problem solved!

I tried checking with them b4, and was directed back to Swee Lee as the lead distributor.

Well, I did have a word with David recently, and he's not totally against the idea. Just gotta have the right number of orders I guess. But it might cannibalize his FuelTank business though.

my advise is... most pedalboards don't need OVERKILL OVERSPECCED OVERPRICED power supplies.

I agree.

However I believe if you can go for it - go for it. Especially if you rely on vintage styled/spec-ed drive units... and you use a sizable number of pedals (e.g. 8 or more) and if you mix modulation and other misc effects together...

The change in feel (for drive pedals), noise levels and sense of security (in the mind) is quite a plus.

Agree on that one. If anyone can afford it... its a big WHY NOT?

I'd love to scoot around with a Honda Silverwing 600 and wear KVLT jeans too man... if I can afford it
