Need a pedal that would increase bass volume!

Hello!

Recently i went to this concert at fort canning called laneway festival. The bassist from this band called Warpaint was using this pedal which allowed the volume to be increased and decreased by just stepping on the pedal. Does anybody know what a pedal like that is called and where I can get it from?

A volume pedal? Did it do anything other than increase the volume? Could be anything really

Yeah it was the pedal i think. The bass guitar became almost as loud as the bass drum

Well if it was a sudden jump then it would be a clean boost or overdrive pedal that increases the gain/volume. There are an uncountable variety of those by every pedal maker in the world. If it was a gradual increase it might've been a volume pedal.

any pedal with volume control can do it.

but if you just want volume boost without all the other crap, you want a clean boost.

there are many. i think dunlop or mxr has one

for me, i have a boss bass overdive. when i need to increase volume (as in bass boost), just set to clean and engage to increase level. simple!

or get a eq and set the level for boost.

I prefer to use the small black knob on the bass guitar called the volume knob... free one leh..
