It was a freakin awesome concert, still can't get over the fact that i've finally seen them live haha. The drum solo was really killer, never knew that Pat Torpey was such an amazing drummer cause Billy and Paul seem to be getting the attention most of the time. The covers of Highway to Hell and Smoke on The Water were really nice surprises

When Eric Martin was talking about "The Rush", I kept asking my buddy, "What, the Canadian band?". Haha.. musician's joke.. lol

Awesome concert, though. Best free concert that I went to, anyway. Well, I did get the tickets for free.

I feel bad for Eric Martin though. Everyone kept cheering for Billy and Paul. I only heard myself cheering Eric's name.

Exactly! I felt it was too short as well. I guess time really does fly when you're having fun. And damn, did we have fun.

it was a great concert... i was there working there.. so got in freee!!!!!! the band wasnt really happy with the sound crew..but they managed to pull it off

I believed it sounded best when u hear the actual tones and sound direct from their amps(guitar /bass). It was'nt that good thru the house speakers.//was quite bad when they played music stuff thru those speakers bef the gig....a lot of treble.
It was quite the same problem with the last Yngiwe gig...house speaker a bit crappy.
But overall, the band is SUPERB!!! Innovative solos. Too bad they did'nt sell Live in Budokan dvd.

The setup was quite modest. The drumset was basic and billy only used 2 bass cabs instead of 4. Glad they pumped up the bass and vocals midway cause they were too soft in the beginning and the songs weren't grooving without billy man..
