wow, how this thread became a ramen discussion? I didn't read from page one.
Anyways, this is a great thread! I'm a die-hard ramen fan. Daniel and Edwin, you guys made some awesome posts!
Fav ramen so far is still Tokusen Toriniku @ Santouka, I love the saltiness of the shoyu flavor in the soup and the pork cheek is heavenly. I took the miso flavor once and i'll never do it again, it totally redefines the meaning of salt.
Noodle house Ken, soup base not bad but the noodles felt like instant noodles, the char shu is too thin, no fatty parts last i tried.
7 nuts soup Ramen @ Marutama is a total failure, plus the service is terrible (long story)
Miharu is not as good as I expected it to be, I kinda had trouble finding it the first time.
Ajisen should not exist at all. My instant noodles taste better, haha.
Have yet to try: Ichibantei, Tampopo and Baikohken
btw Dan, thanks for the cold ramen recommendation, I'll go try one of these days. I've never tasted any good ones so far.
Should we start a ramen thread? lol
