Mr Soft, I feel you've been telling that to everyone, but I'll never ever EVER try to get any of my female friends to join Miss Universe, because it's stupid and westernised. I agree with vaevictus, eventhough i probably wouldn't go to the extent of insulting them, but I feel that it's better to not have the competition, than just getting whoever we can get and sending them overseas to take part. It's like just taking part for the sake of taking part. Who says its compulsory to join? What? Our country will be looked down if we stopped taking part in this silly competition?

I met the girls a few times because I was doing media coverage and some backstage interview with them. It takes them alot of effort and courage to get to where they are now. Please respect them.

just the other day, i was having lunch with some people whom i just met. suddenly one of them start making nasty comments about a certain public figure. she went on and on and on....
i was very angry and shock at how she can have such hatred against someone she didn't even know.
in the end, i still didn't tell her that the person she is insulting is actually my relative.

Actually i feel that the problem does not lie with the contestants but rather the show itself
Here are some ways i feel that they can improve
1.Different content e.g talent time performance
2.Realistic prizes e.g car,scholarship
3.Proper training for the contestants as few are born speakers
4.Have better local relevance
5.Have an all rounded theme(not just beauty n brains)

Singapore full of liars. The judges lie! There are'nt any finalists if i was the judge. Ill just ask them to f*ck off and ill resign as a judge and just die of disappointment! :evil: Or judge Ms Lebanon Universe. Ill have my pants wet if i ever be one of their judges :smt080
