and yeah...all our miss sings have been toothy people.no offence...but i wonder wad the judges are based on. jade seah > the miss sing i dunno name...hands down...

i totally don't get it with pageants..and the girls who actually go for them..

are they there for fame? are they there for the prize? are they there for a chance to be a humanitarian? blah dee blah dee blah..

i think eunice olsen is the only one so far i've seen who's been super active in the community with her humanitarian stuff after she got her crown.. but the rest...i only see them getting more endorsements or fading away...

Yes it is mr soft. Just be pretty and know it for yourself. Not posing to be pretty but cannot make it...u know? so, lets just leave singapore miss universe as hopeless until a bunch of hot women take part in the competition. If not, my eyes are off the screen. i was greatly disappointed with these year's finalists. Couldn't expect less...shit man they suck :twisted:

THE SMS votes didnt mean shit dudes! Naazrina mohammad got the highest count, but she didn't even make to top 10... The point of those votes are useless, just like in talentime last time when triplenoize pwned all in sms votes ...

My point is, i feel that miss singapore universe, from the point carol cheong got the highest for the evening gown thing, she sealed her fate as a winner. The judges english probably isn't too good too, so they don't give a crap. But this pageant is definitely more on beauty .. Or should i say the judges view on what beauty is, because carol cheong definitely wasn't the most beautiful there ... I felt that the ssunita rai girl should've won ...

I conclude that the pageant is crap, just like every other year ... Try take off the makeup on those girls, i bet you will have nightmares at night .... Can be seen by looking at their old pics(during one segment), they looked like crap ...

I thought the winner was a bit ordinary.... and I think it's obvious to everyone here that she doesnt have much hope of doing well in LA which is disappointing because there are some truly beautiful girls in this country who would be great ambassadors.

Initially I thought they'd screwed the whole thing up when they announced the winner first followed by the first runner up, who after all was more attractive.

Lol. But seriously, Jade Seah, Susnita Rai and Zeenat Nisha seemed to be able to answer questions on the spot quite well.

Maybe the judges already know that Singapore can never make it against the other countries and that's why they just chose whoever is more likeable to them. :/ And what the hell was Genecia Luo doing in top 3? Oh well. Lol.

I don't think we should be thinking about that...we should all be thinking how did the winner even win?! The 2nd one was far more pretty than the winner...there were so many other pretty ones...heck, this is a beauty contest...not some graduation test...

Yea, this whole thing is bullcrap...just walk along Orchard anyday and there'll be tons of pretty girls to drool...but of course, I don't normally remember their faces when I get home...XD
