Militant escape- Security in S'pore?

better not reveal how he escaped. the others in prison and detention centres would wanna try that:mrgreen:

Other prisons are above ground, you can escape if you're able to pass the armed guard, electric fence and the 4-storey wall/razor-wired fencing. I heard the Onreat Rd detention is underground, hence it's tougher to walk out just like that!

Yeah...i think the public need to see the CCTV footage!

ok then. dont let those i the detention centre watch the footage.

hahaha jkjk actually i'm quite curious to know how he escaped. thats very..for lack of a better word..unusual?

hey for all we know, he might not have even reached singapore. maybe he escaped when he was on the way from indonesia to singapore. well, this is what i thought anyway. the media lies

he might be having a weeks off from detention.having a hell of a time at singapore's sunny beaches.being a terrorist is hard work too you know.

maybe he went back to his cell after his toilet break. tired so sleep
and the police and guardsmen didn't think if checking there

If I was a betting man, I'd bet that he's in Malaysia. Someone like him would have swum across easily. From there, it's pretty much easy passage to Indonesia.

It's actually quite easy to get into and out of Singapore via smuggling routes. No kidding but I once knew an SG wanted man who would visit his parents here in SG during festive season. He would come in from the Malaysian side of our border and leave similarly. Then again this was a long time ago and perhaps the SG authorities have a better system intact.

What's really disapointing is the misinformation that has been provided. Now we hear that he doesn't really have a limp at all?????

My take is that he overpowered a guard and wore 'official clothing' when he got out. No one dressed inappropriately would have made it out. Either that or he hid in one of the laundry or garbage bins and was actually driven out unhindered.

It's a shame that the inquiry is not going to be an open inquiry because it would have been interesting to find out how he actually made it. Dang! This even beats Prison Break.

I too think it could be an inside jobs...and maybe the police were to complacent with the security and overlooked that this could happen. Whoever the person that day in-charge sure "jialat".:p

well of course mas selamat is no longer here with us........
