hahah all these kiddy talk is entertaining. whats with this PUREness? :lol: Well i listen to metal. I make metal music. Bt i also listen to other styles. And sometimes i make other kinds of music. I sure dont classify myself as being PURE. The new wave of metal music & generations r not pretty, bt i dont c any reason to HATE em. Did they rape u or somethin? Get ready. The end is near.

I listen to eric clapton, stevie wonder and many oldies stuff . I even listen to some hip hop R&B songs at times. I cant have all metal songs in my mp3, after a few metal songs, it'll be slow or something relatively softer than metal. Thats to prevent me from getting a headache after listening too much and prevent me from getting bored of the songs.

i'm a fan of slipknot. to me, it's metal. for you, it isn't. don't try to prove your point or put your point to us with that comment of yours. no offence. it's just what i think.

for me, i'm a someone who doesn't listen to any other genre. i'm just listening to metal and metal everyday. call me stereotype, go ahead. :lol: meybe other than listening to the bands from roadrunner, try listening to bands from lifeforce records.

As many others here, I enjoy metal tremendously.
But I similarly enjoy other genres of music.

If being a metal-head means listening to metal and degrading everything else, then I'd much rather not be one.

If being a metal-head entails enjoying and appreciating the genre tremendously more than other genres, while retaining musical sensibility and not labelling every other band that does not do metal as pussies, then I'm all for being a metal-head. :wink:

And for the record, I like Slipknot, even if they don't do solos.
I admire their work, even if some choose to ostracise them because they are 'nu-metal.'

Don't be misunderstood but metal is all about Dragons, death, satan, life, magic, ancient stuff, the world and shit like that. Most commonly the lyrics do have something against religions and such in metal. And well, no offense, metal to me is kinda Atheistic or Antichrist. NOT all metal bands but most i can say. Correct me if im wrong.. Morbid Angel, deicide is death metal and their lyrics talk about satan. Death (woo my fav band i love chuck!), is more of an atheist band too. But whatever it is, METAL FOREVER!! PURE FUCKING METAL!! :twisted:
