yes it's disappointing because it not like its predecessors, yes? but it's good musicianship all round.

yup. Dissection decided to try something new actually... if that's true. Try to shift to a more melodic sounds rather than their orginal style of black metal...

how's that album? i have limited patience with doom-related outfits, currently favouring Cathedral & Confessor only...

the industry considers Dissection's initial offerings to be a hybrid black/ death metal type, not a black metal definition per se. they were purportedly the initiator of this genre.

haha its just that almost half of sporen chinese listen 2 chinese pop.den those who listen english stuff ,not much listen 2 metal..den in the case of listening to black metal bands liek emperor even lesser.I always get pple telling me to listen to chinese love songs instead of my usual dose of metal. maybe of out 100 ,1 or 2 is OK but trade pantera for the now MIA F4? No way in hell man.

jus a lil pissed cos pple tend to sterotype all chinese have to be like the shit on the radio these daes.Beyond was a gd band ...after tt who else?

The whole album is good imo. But some stand out tracks are, thus spake the nightspirit, ensorcelled by khaos, the loss and curse of reverence. Just get the album, .

I am not very into the death metal scene yet, but I have heard a band called appalling spawn, called lykathea aflame now if i am not wrong, i only have their songs when they were called appalling spawn, very very good stuff. am planning to get cryptopsy's none so vile album too. got any recommendations?
