we've been through this here- trying to split hairs about certain genre. hope it won't happen again...

black metal is a music genre, its religious affiliation is secondary. there are satanic BM bands, there are non-satanic ones as well. people tend to notice the former & ignore the latter.

yeah i agree. there are alot of other bm bands that focus on war, destruction, armageddon, death, gore rather than satanism.

i think what makes most people think that all bm bands are satanic may be due their look or dressing

black metal is a music genre, its religious affiliation is secondary

though that may b the way WE want it to be, there is no running away from the fact. there is a reason black metal exists & devotees, old timers always consider the theme primary (be it Idolism, Atheism, Anti-government, Anti-human, Anti-social), it's based on a belief system rather than religion. However, it was meant to b a dark genre so u cant have Happy Gay Black Metal - call it Fusion then.

I will not favour the existence of Christian or Muslim Black Metal, it's Holy Crap :lol: Purely the result of parodymen or "revolutionaries".

Black Metal has only become less frowned upon because prominent men like mr subversion have embraced the music style.
