Mustaine's riffs + hetfeilds vocals = Metallica should be a better band. IMO, Mustaine is a better guitarist than Kirk, but Hetfield is better @ vocals than Mr Mickey mouse trying to sing a metal song..

countdown for extinction is the 1st megadeth album that i bought which is the my fav megadeth album and its really2 changed me from metallica fans to megadeth fans hahaha

Mustaine is a lousy singer in term of singing..but in megadeth his voice is perfect. His is just intense, snarly, full of angst that fits megadeth's music. Seeing how the way his lips twitch shows how intense this guy really sings.

He's not a singer per se but a vocalist, which most thrash metal vocalists are. And really what most metal bands have. Death metal vocalist, black metal vocalist. Sorta like a skewed voice over in a cartoon, they add charater to the story, or rather feel of the song. And for that, Mustaine is perfect for Megadeth and Hetfeild for metalica.

And that's also why people who say that death metal is all GRAA ARRGHH GAAHH ARGGHH don't get the whole point of the thing.

And er... the best songs from each band were written by one person anyway, so MegaDave.
