Well, I'm saving my arse out for this one and was wondering if I could find any decent drum module for as low as 250-300? Also, anyone here tried the edrum project over at www.edrum.info ? I've tried to built one but there was soooo many problems.

Well, I know, I've been searching like mad for a second hand one but can't find any. lol. Enlighten me please oh dear softies. :D

ya I have tried my hands on the projects in electronicdrums.com. that time I had a rytm traveller. and bought a new td6. for 700 works like a charm. I suggest u want to go for a module go for Roland module..they've tested it out and approved on it's reliability. And the sound kicks butt too.
but too bad I don't have the time to do the hi hat pedal...
One Day, I'm busy with work and don't play drums hence, dismantle the parts and sold em. but after a while my drum passion comes back and bought a TD3 kit.
You do not need to be an electronic genius to do the projects. It's just need proper planning, time and patience. 8)
by the way, you need to subscribe to that website mentioned, and pay certain amount for their fee.

How much does the TD3 module cost? Also, what benefits are there if I went on and register for the electronicdrums.com site?

Thanks in advance.

the TD 3 modile, last time I checked with EZI music (you can click on he banner on SOFT home page). they quoted 600. but still if you are starting from a satch i suyggest you go for the complete TD3 KIT. around the same price if you're going to start from zero. a td3 kit=1.8k
an rythm traveller e-drum conversion: td3 module: 600, RT: 700, misc. electronics and cable, 100. hi hat pedal, 70 total: 1.5 k..and pls do remember you must have time, proper tools, some electronic basics to complete the project. and of course some mistake will happen eventually. but if you have an acoustic drum, you just got to buy the mesh skin head. and again go find out yourself at the friendly music shop about the price and availability

Go and check yourself out how much you need to suncsribe to the site, i forget how much.

Well, I just made myself diy drum pads, with mesh heads on and a electronic hi hat pedal. I have a good knowledge of electronics [I'm an ITE student btw  ].

Woah, 600?!?! Might as well get Alesis. I think I'll try saving up my money.
