HELLO levan, my band is very shy and new in the scene, WE WOULD LIKE TO PLAY FOR LSB AND SOAK UP THE SUN YAW. HAHA so here's our FABULOUSO answers to your 5 questions. i really hope that we're not too late in submitting this.

1) Are you of a professional standard, performance and marketing wise?
Well, i won't say we're of professional standard but we do give kickarse shows if the sound quality is great and leave some fans with bruised balls and bleeding noses afterwards.
2) Are you really able to draw in the big crowds yet?
Well, if you consider a strong crowd in bars and clubs, we won't know how well we might do in big events, so do try us.
3) Do you have an album / EP to promote in conjunction to the gig (Might as well use the opportunity to push sales or marketing!)
nope, we do not have an EP yet, but we'll be making use of this chance(if we're given) to promote our upcoming EP which will be out latest by the end of the year and no it WILL NOT BE PIRATED!
4) Do you love your staplers?
staplers? hell yeah, i remember eating stapler bullets when i was a kid and i even stapled my finger together! OUCH
5) And most importantly of all, what will your band offer to the lineup that other bands do not?
we promise an energetic show, with all our heart. it'll be one of heart thumping breakdowns, melodic riffs and of course, a unique taste of our own blended in with the genre metalcore. We might be underground, but we do kick major sayrious ass like the mainstream doodes. =D

My best 3 local band.

LOCAL:
1. Saw Loser
2. The November Iris
3. Plain Sunset

REGIONAL:
1. Anything... Go with the majority...

This are my top local bands... I wish the best should make a good start and the rest should keep the flow goes on.....

You can't rock if you can't dance

Hi roninriot,

My votes for bands that will give you a rockin' LSB for the audience are:

1. Cardinal Avenue
2. Postbox
3. Sherene's Closet (reunion lah!)

and one more lesser known secret

4. Sidd and His Self Esteem www.myspace.com/siddandhisselfesteem for a good bout of 70s inspired garage rock.

My regional vote goes to either

1. Love Me Butch
2. Furnituere
OR
3. Seven Collar T-shirt

I'd also like to ask if Leeson www.leesonband.comcan play blay for this year's Lime Sonic Bang not because we're shy, but we're not with any labels that help promote us, and its abit tougher looking for shows that aren't already filled up.

Based on your 5 questions

1. Are you of a professional standard, performance and marketing wise?
I won't say we're of a professional standard in that we're not actually making money as a band, but we definitely are well rehearsed, tight, write absolutely catchy songs (check our first single out www.myspace.com/leesonsg) and we market ourselves in everything except playing enough shows.

2. Are you really able to draw in the big crowds yet?
We've played packed shows at Home Club but looked abit out of place at Alternation.

3. Do you have an album / EP to promote in conjunction to the gig (Might as well use the opportunity to push sales or marketing!)
we're recording another single, but all our current and future music is available for download at www.myspace.com/leesonsg So yes, you can own some Leeson love very easily -)

4. Do you love your staplers?
i use them for work, but they are not safe tools to begin with unless the bullets are red.

5. And most importantly of all, what will your band offer to the lineup that other bands do not?
i was going to say an absolute blast, but then i'm sure all bands are capable of doing that! what can i say? i think our music is unique in Singapore, yet fun enough for people to dance to, download our music, share with our friends. All in all, give us a stage, and we'll show everyone how they can ENjoi! a set of Leeson's music and take the scene to far greater heights!

so yes! vote Leeson if you softies wanna see us there!
