LIME has officially shut down. I posted it sometime back on the Lime Sonic Bang thread.
The reasons? I can't really say, but I do know that I have nothing to do with it HAHA!
2 of us have gone on to 8 Days, and 2 of us have gone on to FHM.
I volunteered for FHM, like, duh!
It's a shame though. I can proudly say that LIME was perhaps one of the most - if not the most - pro-local music magazine in the last few years with its compilation CD, Lime Sonic Bang, and interviews. But that is the sad reality, ain't it? Local music doesn't sell shit, and that's the harsh truth.
BUT I promise I'll try to slip in more local music bits into FHM though.
The good news is that FHM has a higher readership. The bad news is that all-male bands will probably have to contend with horny men drooling over them as fans rather than young fangirls lol. 
But I'm the noob on the team so I can only plug as best as I can.
But chin up to the guys originally supposed to play LSB!I just got word that Lime Sonic Bang, or a morphed adaptation of it, MIGHT still be a go-ahead. I'll keep you abreast (two, please?) on the latest updates when i am allowed to announce them. No promises yet though cause I'm clueless to the ongoings too at this point in time.

PLEASE GUYS
I urge everyone to take the initiative to really SEND me stuff if you want your band to be covered by the media. It's relatively easy for me to pass your press kit around the office to other publications as best as I can cause everyone's packed in the same building. But somehow, strangely, few bands seem to be sending me stuff. In the last 1 1/2 years I've been working here, I've only ever gotten FOUR press kits from local bands. I don't know why there are folks who complain about the lack of support from the media for local bands when the offer is open to them! :S
So I beg ya, if you're in a band who wants the public exposure, take the initiative! I'm here ready to help but you have to help by sending me stuff if you want to be featured. Even if it's in a small way, at least it's something positive.

I'm just one out of many people trying their best.
Tons of gig organizers, band managers, and other peeps do a lot of shit for the scene too and never get their due credit. Even the indie labels here don't get enough cred that they deserve. Even peeps like Raman from WHATLAH! are promoting truly noble causes with no gain for themselves. They deserve the kudos more than I do. Besides, I'm mostly an antagonizing lovelovelovelovelove on SOFT most times anyway But I do that just for fun of course.
