This sounds like some star wars sequel. I've yet to use one of this little ds-1 buddy. I've heard u can make it sound chorus-y or like a tremolo.

Can someone enlighten me on how to use the phase and the good models in the market. Include the price too

So far i've heard about the MXR phase90, EVH phase 90 and phase 100.

C'mon shoot!

I'm selling a Boss Phase Shifter. PH-3. Read reviews online and see if you're interested in it.

It is good if you play rythm + digging into different type of effects. A must have!

Hard to tell you with words. Go and try it out at SweeLee.

hmm...i'd like to noe more abt phasers as well...lolz...cause i'm considering getting one, but i dunno which would be good...i've heard of another...Red Witch...my teacher uses it...freakin cool stuff...its like, the top of the line item...a buy and forget kinda thing...any others tt's not to over the top in terms of price?

i have a mij boss ph-1r, which can be rich and creamy, but with fewer knobs to tweak like the modern ph-3. the boutique ones like the red witch and the moogerfooger i think sound warmer and can do much weirder stuff, if that's your thing

phasers are one of those effects that can be fun to play with but you probably won't use very often, unless you're into experimental music. it also sounds tiresome when used too much. IMHO.

the MXR and EVH would be a better choice

however for me the line6 liqua flange works wonderfully

i got more than what i want which i love

yeap. one of those things I could never get used to using. Does affect my playing dynamics in a way that inspires me to invent or change.

Red Witch is the one most often hyped about.. can go MrMisse to try it out. If it sounds good, get it. Just save up a little.

i consider the chorus/ phase/ flanger as those modulation offerings that gets in the way of your playing if you use it excessively, or have no idea how to tastefully integrate it into your FX line-up.

i've recently gone back to the flange in an attempt to turn it into a thickening effect more than anything else. i prefer this to the phase as it's devoid of that background hiss.

That looks ineresting. But the more impt question does that pedal suck tone? Had a bad experience with the de7 in that aspect.

hmm...yeah...the phase 90 seems decent enuf, not difficult to use, affordable...but i gotta go test it out lah...hmm...might consider tt lah...

I've always liked a tastefully done phase effect, but they're quite rare anyways.

How much is the red witch? Looks, and sounds quite interesting =D

No loh.. when it comes to gear, BREAD AND WATER will do!!!!

Trust me.. I've done it... many times.

But yeah, it sucks when its just bread and water... shucks. :P

whick kind of phaser can get close to the hendrixey sound ah, you reckon?Hypothetically if I'm already using a strat with single coils on the 4th position...

I know he uses the vibe effect, but i heard somewhere that you can use the phase to replicate too...any ideas?

Snuff: My fav phaser sound is the HBE one....frankly I think it can match up to the Red Witch... ...although I have only played on the Red witch personally...not played the HBE yet

Thanks blue, lookin at phasers lately...the HBE ones are about the same size as a ...GT2 rite?

I'm actually playin with limited space on my humble pedalboard, maybe lookin at something smaller, such as the tonefactor nebula...the clips sound good for clean...

anybody has those?

By the way, the MXR phase 90 are not really TB rite?

I didnt like the nebula at all...thought the clips didnt show me what i needed... i saw a clip of the hbe on youtube....loved it...
