Keeping Your Fingers Moist

The cold weather and low humidity over here means my fingers as well as the strings get dry easily. Makes for frictional, sucky playing at times.

I got around this by mosturising my hands & fingers before I play.

Wonder what your techniques are?

Ya, I thought of that too. Like sweaty fingers right?.

I agree. When my fingertips are moist, I find that my picks stick to my skin better. When they're very dry, my picks tend to move around. In fact, dry skin is a problem I have.
