JOIN a band trend, good or bad thing?

It’s the trend now to be in a band. Seriously loads of people in my school and my friends all seem to be picking up an instrument for the sole purpose being in a band. Most of these bands play pop-punk or punk rock type of music. Of course you have the serious musicians who really do want to play and are dedicated, and then you have some people who just want to be in a band for the sake of it. For example there are some people in my school who start planning the name, the logo and the “theme colors” of their band even before they have members or before they can play any instrument or sing.

I’m not saying it’s a bad thing at all. I just want to see what you guy’s opinions are on the sudden rush to be in a band.

ya, noticed guitar shops are alot more crowded now compared to 2-3yrs ago....

last tme when nearby i'll go look look see see, now nt bothered unless i nid to get something.....the shops always cramped with kids.....
