Satch played rhythm PERFECTLY for this. One thing I noticed - not many guitarists can crank out a MEAN rhythm and on top of that, improvise some rhythm stuff. Very cool. He does look like he's having a great time. And interestingly, he has his whole pedal board there?! For 1 song? Either Satch is truly committed & uncompromising or he played more stuff.

Haha, perhaps he enjoyed the simplicity of his job this time instead of being the virtuoso he is.

thats very true...i wanted to bring that up but no one summed it up more perfectly than you did :p

Satch comes across as a super nice guy. Watched him for a VERY short gig in KL in 1999. We could see that he was enjoying himself, even during soundcheck.

jalanampas - i was there too! was it "rentak asia"? i bought tat 180 ringgit ticket just to see him, along with eric johnson n steve vai!
but screw the cops who disrupted the show n eventually we didn't get to see all 3 of them jamming on the stage together...shucks!!

hmm it doesnt seem to be satch whos playing the more audible part of the rhythm guitar. i can hear 3 three guitar, satch's being the softest. im talking about the canon rock part
