Because I chose to respect the no photography signs within the shop and the floors are really laid out that the person at the counter can see almost the whole floor. And I was carrying an SLR. Did I mention I tried the ESP through a Diezel Herbert and a Dual Rectifier?

I have an Edwards Jimmy Page Les Paul copy. It's my main guitar nowadays.

Japanese Les Paul copies are seriously the best thing since sliced bread, I'm a happy man.

I haven't post it at buy/sell yet. Talking about a lot of prev experiences. The most common offers that I received are people offered me trades and value their guitar with brand new sweelee price while I'm selling mine at half price. Some even ask me to top up

I'm only looking about 750 for the guitar, so if i can get close to that amount by selling it to shop then I rather sell it to shop.

i doubt GC or any shop for that matter will give u a good price cos they have to cover costs like their rental etc plus they have to make a profit from selling the guitar..

i dont know for sure but i would expect the shops to make at least a couple of hundred from the guitar. maybe u can sell 4 $800? its just an estimate ah, dont take my word for it haha.

Don't think so.
Here's my breakdown.
New=1.2k.
Used (what the shop will sell at)=about 3/4 of price, +/-, depending on demand. Let's put the secondhand resale value at between 700-900. Even if it's it super mint condition, at the very very most, 1 grand.
Shop will have to cover rental, electricity etc. on top of making a profit. I would think that you would get around 500-600, at most 750 if it's mint/brand new condition.
That's just my estimate though, don't take my word for it.

ohh yeah, sorry. i misunderstood the $1200 as the 2nd hand price at GC. yup, JumpinJellybean's estimate is more accurate..i would say it could sell for about 1/2 the brand new price la.
