Is there a local music scene

Eh, bro Agingyouth bro, I didn't see your post before I posted mine! Well, I guess our posts reflect each other's sentiments.

And I think I know who's the female rocker!

Yesssshhhh, sis bbenii sis, the one who cycles too much...

And I'm still open to do food tasting.

In fact, I might be going to this place on Sat to try out the salted-egg crabs. Apparently, they throw in salted egg yolk to fry the crabs or something like tt. Thinking about it makes me HUNGRY...

EEH dangit. I got friend 21st birthday on Sat, and that'll be goodbye to all the money I have left. Crap man (no pun intended), I is too broke lah. Once I start working... And my man gets his wheels... Chiong ah!! Must organise Singapore food hunt!

I know already lah. Why don't AY become the next Makansutra! Read today's TNP or Home or Life (can't remember which). Got feature him... Kill 3 birds with one stone!

Check this out -- even MM Lee says that running a country is like making music. He also in the scene sia! Hurhur.

Like chicken drumstick, bro RR bro? Killer lah!

Sis bbenii sis, when we were still actively doing the web-zine, one of the ideas was that we wanted to do an article on the best makan place your band will go after jamming or recording.

Some folks record at Blackisle which is near Geylang. Bestest... All the steamboats joints are there. Some jam at Fourtones which is near Chinatown. There's a porridge stall which is quite killer. And we were supposed to get the bands to recommend where the best makan joints are.

It's not as though one cannot make a living out of music. I think it IS possible. An option is that one lowers the standards of one's lifestyle. Wanting to become a rockstar is admittedly a tough daydream, but hey. Doing music for a living can be done when there's contentment doing something one's passionate about, despite the little returns it may yield. Rockstardom comes with that stroke of luck and (still) a lot of hard work.
Yup, strip naked on SG idol and you are on the way to becoming a rock star wooohooo!

I sometimes jam at Alvron which is at bukit timah near beauty world.. Al Ameen is pretty awesome :/ they serve indian muslim food.. pretty good stuff :)

I'm Gracia Ventus from Damai 4e1. Not sure whether we're from the same batch. I took my O-levels in 2004. You looked like a girl from 4e3, or 4e4.

averal.... your post is not contains much intelligence lehhh....

anyway.... al ameen food so so only lah. I ever had tandoori chicken that looked pretty nice and charred outside but uncooked and slimy inside. Their Thai styled dishes and stuff like that also tak rock.

Go there only when I need my prata/naan fix and no other food around my area in the middle of the night.
