Insane 4 Caffeine: Launch of Quantum Soup's debut album "Coffee by the Beach"

Quantum Soup will launching its debut album, "Coffee by the Beach", this coming July 23, 2011 @ Homeclub. Our friends, YouthWreck and Bear Culture will be rocking the stage with us as well. The show will commence at 5.30pm and end at 9.30pm. So do come down early!

Tickets are $12 at the door with one free drink.
And its NC16 - sorry teens below 16 years of age

Who are Quantum Soup? Quantum Soup are a quartet who are purveyors of simple but great coffee. They play Quantum Rock and their main musical influence is Nescafe Gold.

YouthWreck is a grunge band that combines elements of jazz, jizz and metal to form a tasteful wall of noise. It all started when frontman Fadil met Hidir at adultfriendfinder.com whilst pretending to be girls. Together with Hasshim Abbas who owned a Fried Chicken Backside business and Izzudin, a leading ballet instructor, the quartet decided to play music after falling in love with Justin Bieber.

Bear Culture are the most normal band rocking the stage for the night. “Rock, with a flair for the fanciful,” is one of the few ways to describe this progressive rock band. Formed from a diverse group of musicians, the music created by the band shows the multiple influences brought by each member. All 5 members constantly push the boundaries of their genre and breaking whatever views listeners have on rock bands nowadays.

Bear Culture performs "Valkyrie"

“Rock, with a flair for the fanciful,” is one of the few ways to describe Singaporean progressive rock band Bear Culture. Formed in February 2010, the music produced by the band has been described as “fresh” and showcases the technical abilities of every member, along with their knack for memorable melodies. The band members aim to constantly better themselves to keep up with the ever changing music scene.

Having recently been selected to perform at Baybeats 2011, the annual music festival by the Esplanade, Bear Culture is not one of the bands to be missed come August.

The band is currently busy writing and recording their debut EP which is due to be released in late 2011.

Hello friends!

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the timing of gig has been brought earlier to 5.30pm - 9.30pm. I realise now it's pretty early. Despite this, I hope that you will extend your humble support to our local music scene!

Quantum Soup's album "Coffee by the Beach" will be on sale at a special price of S$10 this Saturday and merchandise from YouthWreck and Bear Culture will also be available.
