hehe, no offence ok, but dont you think US deserved the 9-11 attack?

just for augment, you were holidaying in New York, checking out the World Trade Center on that day. i dont think you deserve it too.

please, when you post, think of how your posting affect others and how it actually reflect your character.

the innocent people dont deserve it..

:(

but america should move on...

ok, since the topic is on IMF, let's stick to that.

let me ask you guys a question, "How has IMF affected you?"

Not because of the current meeting in Singapore but their organisation's action.

yes and yes and i understand your point of view.

As for reflecting character, indeed indeed  no remorse and let this reponse be a reminder of how ignorant and clueless i am..

those protestors in that small area in suntec, they're not protesting cos imf and worldbank affected them, but for those without a voice, struggling just to have enough to eat to survive

Can somehow explain to me what is this globalisation all about? I understand that farmers lands are known to be taken away from the authorities to make way for industrial infrastructures. Anyone care to shed some light into it because with the limited knowledge I have on globalisation , I can only come up with the good points and apart from the fact that the rich get richer and poor get poorer....

Say, bro rottenramone bro, weren't you at Suntec this afternoon at the summit for the Muslim banks/ financial institutions?

From a business point of view:

Increased international exposure. This is one big mega international meeting. Singapore have time and again proved themself to be no nonsense city. Anyone who is interested in doing business here would APPRECIATE that.

One way or another there are business deals made, contacts made and relationships built behind close doors. It will pave a way for a lot of future dealings in Singapore.

Other than that... this meeting is sure causing a lot of inconvenience for a lot of people.
