i almost got an EJ-3, but somehow the piece that they brought in had quite a lot of finishing problems, so i ended up with a yamaha

ohh how's yamaha guitars? i always had the impression that yamaha stuffs are always not worth the value and esp not a very good brand for guitar i ended up with an ibanez ael20e haha cos no money buy a full solid maestro

yamaha's not too bad, brighter than the EJ-3 as expected. very good build quality, and good quality control (imho maestro's biggest weakness). yamaha has been making acoustic guitars for a very long time afaik. no idea about electrics, but then i'm not really an electric guy
