Imagine, if you had to choose between these three guitars, which would you choose:

-EBMM Steve Morse Standard

(blue guit at the end, but somewhat similar features as the Y2D)

-Richie Kotzen Sig. Stratocaster

all pretty versatile but have their own sound yeah, all rare too in Singapore. Price range, i think more or less about the same too. All look pretty sexy too.

(and which do you think could be applicable for 'church' kinda use - like delayish but uh, okay not really)

SO....

WHICH?

should try out all 3 before buying. as the saying goes, no 2 guitars sound the same.

another important factor is the neck profile. imo playing comfortably is quite an important factor when it comes to picking a guitar.

There's a Japanese Ebay seller with the RK Strat and Tele for sale. Brand new. Cheaper than what you can get here, even after paying for shipping.

I gotta say this though - the 3 guitars you've listed are VASTLY different. You've got the traditional side (Tele and strat) and a modern side. Between the strat and tele, they play different and they make you play different. I know that with a tele, you actually want to hit the crap out of it... because the instrument demands you play like that. And it probably has more balls and the other 2 instruments. I've tried the RK Tele... its very nice. Very very nice.

And what does "delayish" mean for a guitar? You want what? A lag when you hit the strings?

Ah seriously, it depends on you entirely!
All 3 are significantly different. If it were me, I'd go for the Kotzen tele. Simply because I'm a tele AND Kotzen fan.

You're footing the bill, I guess you'd just have to decide. If you're unsure, then maybe you should not rush into it and buy for the sake of buying.

Neither. The Morse has more switching options than Shredcow has pedals! So I don't think I'll need that many. Plus I like guitars with a forearm contour.

The Tele to me is a pimped Tele. So is the Strat. There's nothing reallt fabulously special about these that warrants that price tag. I'd prefer making my own from scratch.

But personally, the Morse has a really nice neck. Just wish there was a contour...
